First let me say this smoothie does not taste "healthy," "green," or anything like spinach. I've had some green juices before that reminded me of the way cut grass smells, not my idea of breakfast - this is not one of those drinks. Ok, now that's out of the way let me say that this smoothie has made my morning so much better! This tastes delicious, keeps me full all morning, and is full of vitamins and protein! Up until about a month ago I was having a protein bar and a banana for breakfast everyday then I discovered this baby and now my friends and I are hooked.
If you're looking to change to your morning routine give it a try! It's low fat, low sugar, and perfect for a meal or snack. This keeps me from snacking at my desk and gives me so much more energy at work. It's fast, easy, and the ingredients are cheap. Give it a try, it's the perfect way to cool down on hot summer mornings!
Recipe after the jump, I can't say enough good things about my Green Goddess Smoothie!!! I repeat, it doesn't taste healthy!

5 Smoothies To Get You Going
Do you get stuck in a breakfast rut? My normal breakfast is a low sugar protein bar with a banana or Greek yogurt and fruit. So in an endeavor to break up the breakfast monotony I've found five smoothies that I can't wait to try. I'm huge on cutting out sugar in my breakfast (so I don't crash at my desk) and using the natural protein in Greek yogurt instead of a protein powder. And a major smoothie plus for me is that their quick and easy in the morning and good on the go! All five of these have Greek yogurt and lots of vitamins, do you have a favorite smoothie?
3. Green monster, looks delish and super healthy
