Do you wear an apron when you cook? To be honest half the time I end up tying a kitchen towel around my waist and come out with chocolate and flour all over my face, but I love using my aprons when I remember to. After walking around Anthropology (lust) I've started the apron search all over again. What do you think, any favorites? I have a new favorite store (and I wish this is was a sponsored post). My friend Lauren pinned a champagne flute from BHLDN and now I want everything from the site. They are primarily a wedding site but their table/kitchen accessories are to die for, their shoes are fabulous, and I am seriously craving some of their lingerie. I love it all! I feel like they've captured my essence and are now selling it back to me. What are some of your new favorite sites?
Over the years I have slowly been collecting kitchen essentials and accessories. What can I say, I spend half my time in the kitchen so I might as well spend my money there too. Along with a french press I was craving a cake stand for Christmas and these are a few I found in my search.
I ended up getting a beautiful glass stand with a dome and I love it! It was perfect for the cake I made New Years Eve, and now that I'm giving up sugar for a few weeks (ugh!) it is perfect to keep my fruit in and actually looks pretty cute. I'm so excited to have it for serving sweets at a party or even using as a pretty cheese plate.
What do you think are cake stands out dated or would you give up a little counter space to fit one in your kitchen?

It's that time of year when we start thinking of gift ideas for the whole family...but also when the whole family starts asking you what you want. This is one of the goodies I want this year.
I love my giant makes-ten-cups-in-one-minute coffee maker but sometimes I miss the flavor of the coffee from the little french press I had years ago. So I started the hunt for a nice coffee press and now I can't make up my mind. Aren't these all just too adorable!
